Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on the 1st of October 1995. Her work is recognized as an actress for Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) as well as Chrissie's Content House

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a household that includes actors and directors, pursued both professions. Her debut came at the age of nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). The film featured her in a lead role as Cristina Comencini in her first film Zoo in the year 1988. Michele Soavi directed The Church 1989. Next, in 1989 she was Nanni Moretti's (also directed) daughter, also directed by Michele Soavi in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends, written and directed by Michele Placido in 1992, was the point where Asia's acting career started off. From playing young girl roles, she went on to play more complex and mature characters. The film was a hit during the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma (1993), she was the first to work alongside her father, the renowned Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is among his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search of her parents' murderer. The Phantom of the Opera was her third film alongside her dad, the other two being Trauma, and The Stendhal Syndrome. Her absorbed, intense acting style is well-known in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau was her director in Queen Margot the film, in which she was the main character. In 1995, Asia collaborated with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she won a David di Donatello. Asia began directing short films in 1994. The two she directed were Prospettive in 1996. She directed a documentary about her father; and Abel/Asia, 1998, on the legendary director Abel Ferrara. This latter was recognized at the Rome Film Festival. Asia was first introduced as a director of feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). In this film, she played the role of a lead actor and also wrote the screenplay. It was released on May 20, 2000 both in Italy as well as throughout the globe. It was also released in Brooklyn, New York it received an award from the Williamsburg film festival. After directing a number of music videos, she gave birth to her first child, Anna Lou. In 2002, she was involved in The Red Siren directed by Olivier Megaton and starred alongside Jean-Marc Barr. Rob Cohen also directed the action thriller featuring Vin Diesel. Asia is also the author of numerous stories that have been published in a variety of famous magazines.
