Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actor and narration. Duff's first television appearance came during the latter part of 1990, after she graduated from Drama Centre London. Her fame was forged when she played Fiona Gallagher, the lead character in UK TV's Shameless in its initial two seasons. She then played Queen Elizabeth I on the television series The Virgin Queen (2006) as well as the lead character in the series From Darkness in 2015. Duff was in roles like Enigma 2001 The Magdalene Sisters French Film 2008. The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I go to sleep (2015) and Suffragette. She also appeared in the films The Virgin Queen Shameless Nowhere Boy Suffragette, Shameless And the Virgin Queen earned her BAFTA nods for Best Actresses and Best Supporting actresses.
